Announcement for all carriers/drivers

June 30 2020

Introduction of the Containerchain Booking System for Empty Containers at Progeco Holland b.v.

Progeco Holland (PGH) would like to advise all container transport operators that we will be implementing, as announced earlier, the Containerchain empty container booking system at our depots Waalhaven (Zaltbommelstraat 10) and Eemhaven (Eemhavenweg 123).

This initiative will provide transport operators with real-time visibility of our capacity and utilisation, as well as visibility on a significant amount of operational information that will assist you with planning your daily operations.

The new system will go live on Wednesday July 1st. From this date, container transport operators (CTO’s) will need to have a valid notification in order to be serviced at PGH.
However, Progeco will also accept drivers until 1 September without a booking being made, but this means that admission will be based on capacity. If not advised otherwise, the trucks must be parked in the indicated aera.
Transporters with a valid booking always have priority on our depots.

WHAT DO TRANSPORT OPERATORS NEED TO DO?

All transport operators are required to set up an account at www.containerchain.de to enable access to online bookings for:

  1. The Return of Empty Containers by creating a Drop Off Notification
  2. The Pick Up of Empty Containers by creating a Pick-Up Notification

It will be a prerequisite to create slot bookings via the Containerchain website prior to truck arrival at PGH depot.

If you have any questions about this, please contact Progeco Holland on rtm.notifications@progeco.eu or Containerchain on support.de@containerchain.com
